Hi! I'm Kevin Baratt - English teacher, pronunciation examiner, and the founder of the Speak English Today Family of Websites. For over 20 years, I've been on a mission to help English learners around the world feel confident, speak clearly, and to be proud of the way they speak.

In every class, training, or session I've ever run, I ask the same question: "What's your biggest challenge?" Almost every time, learners look down and quietly say - "My pronunciation is not good." That moment is exactly why I do this work. My passion is to show people what they're already capable of, and then help them go even further!

- speakenglishtoday.org site was one of the first sites I developed due to what I was experiencing teaching at universities, companies, and for government projects. I wanted to create a clear path to success by utilizing smaller steps in every goal to achieve ultimate success.

- f1visainterview.com site was developed to help students prepare and pass the F1 Visa Interview at the consulate or embassy. My students go into the interview confident, with honest answers, and prepared. This is a successful pathway to getting your F1 Visa approved. I also developed a course on Udemy:

I've had the privilege of teaching and mentoring in an incredible variety of environments. From universities and language centers to hospitals, IT companies, and government agencies - I've seen firsthand what works and what doesn't.

Here's a quick look at the journey:

- - - 2008: Founded Speak English Today - still going strong today!
  - - 2012: Formalized Speak English Today as a company.
  - - 2015: graduated web skills programs. Obtained ESL, TEFL certificates for General Learners, Business Environments, and Young Learners.
  - - 2016: Began volunteering and teaching at the County LIteracy Programs, specializing in helping Immigrants learn English. Worked at SPSPC teaching university students and immigrants ESL. I learned about learners from 14 countries during this time.
  - - 2016: Launched Pronunciation Lessons (.net) after years of doing exams for businesses and universities.

- 2016: Began formalizing the Pronunciation Evaluation from testing other lecturers, students, businesses, and at language centers.

- - - 2017: Mastered LMS (Learning Management Systems) and began building online courses.
  - - 2018: Deployed and tested courses in real companies and schools with outstanding results.
  - - 2018: Lecturer at 4 public universities and 2 private universities,

- 2019: Taught at government power companies, IT companies, Hospitality, Hospitals and Medical Professionals.
